Sorry about the break in blogging, but we finally moved to Vancouver. We left Clarkston on Friday afternoon, after having lunch with Tara and Casey Munsch (that's Tara Mann to most of you). We finally got into Vancouver at 9:30 that night and met our landlord at our new house. Then we started unpacking, ordered pizza at 11:45 p.m. and then went to bed around 1:30. Yikes. Lets just say, we're still recovering from that one. Anyhoo, our house is great. It seems to be just what we wanted- a newer place with open living spaces and huge bedrooms. The downside is that our neighborhood is full of octogenarians. Seriously, I think we're the only people around who have hair that isnt white. And you know old people, every time we leave the house they stop us on the street (apparently it's an active retired community) to welcome us to the neighborhood and coo at the baby. Brad LOVES this, by the way. No really, they're sweet and I'm pretty sure we wont have to worry about any of them breaking into our house so that's better than some of the neighborhoods we were looking at. Plus, they all get a real kick out of seeing Dylan and Scarlett, so that's nice. I'll take some pics once all the boxes and clothes are off the floors. Miss you all!

Sounds like our neighborhood- everyone is retired. You definitely don't have to worry when you go on vacation because you know: a) they are not going to break in, and b) they all watch the neighborhood like hawks.
They also bring us cookies and presents and gawk over the girls. The only downside is when you are on a mission and they want to chat. Like the time I was spraying my garden with miracle gro and the neighbor lady came over and talked at me for half an hour- and so my miracle gro all ended up on one plant. Dang.
Sounds like you guys have a good find there.
